Not only will the Big 5 be on display, but a host of other animals and creatures, big and small. Hyena, giraffes, zebras and crocodiles call the park home, and it is also teeming with a vast array of bird life.
You will travel throughout the morning exploring, before stopping to buy yourself some lunch and relax. You will then head out for the second part of the safari, and then be driven back to your hotel.
Full-Day Kruger National Park Safari from Johannesburg
Your safari starts bright and early at 05:00. You will stop for breakfast in Middelburg/Witbank area, and then again in Nelspruit for a cup of coffee and a snack before heading into the park.
Your safari will start right away, allowing you to see all the big game as they make their way to the waterhole or to eat. You may also get the chance to spot some predators as they make their way back from their nightly hunts.
You will then stop for lunch at one of the many rest camps dotted around the reserve. You will then depart for your afternoon safari, and then as the sun goes down, you will head for the exit and then back to Johannesburg or Pretoria.

There is no better opportunity to see the Big 5 than to take a full-day safari on an open-top 4×4. Your journey starts at your hotel in Hazyview, where you will be driven to meet your vastly experienced ranger at one of the parks lodges.
The morning safari will consist of your guide finding and showing you the immense amount of life in the park. From flowers and local plants, to birds of prey, and of course, the many mammals that will be going about their morning routine.
You will be able to stop at several points along the way for photographs and find out more information about the area. Then, it will be time for a midday lunch break, from lunch, you will meet back up with your guide to embark on your afternoon safari.
This part of the journey allows you to learn more about the parks wildlife. There is a huge chance to spot rhinos, elephants, buffalo, zebra, and many other creatures. You will then be driven back to the lodge, and from there, take a bus back to Hazyview.
